Saturday:
Beat Zimbabwe 2-1 this afternoon to finish 19th. All the Pakistanis are delighted because they beat Egypt 2-1 in the final.

Friday - Sunday:
No match today and we'll play Zimbabwe on Saturday to finish things off. It would be great to end with a win!

Thursday:
Sam won but we went down 2-1 to Singapore this evening having lost against Switzerland this morning in a tough match.

Wednesday:
Won against Kenya 3-0 and will not now play Switzerland until tomorrow at 10.00.

Tuesday:
Lost to both New Zealand and Singapore today. Hope to do better tomorrow against Kenya!

Monday:
Lost 3-0 to India in the first group match.

Individual Event:
Saturday and Sunday:
All the lads are finished in the Individual event so it's training and SHOPPING and rest! No news yet on the first round draw for the team event.

Friday:
Mixed results so far to-day. Brian Healy beat his Welsh opponent before losing to the German and Fergal Field lost to an American.

Thursday: No matches today!

Wednesday: Sam Olwill and Brian Healy both registered Irish wins today when winning 3-2 against their respective Swiss and Kenyan opponents.

Tuesday: Unfortunately there was no joy on the first day out with all the lads losing their first matches, but better luck tomorrow!
