Senior Teams

The Men's and Women's European championships were held in Riccione, Italy from May 2 to 5 2007.

Our Men's team finished in 6th. spot losing their 5-6 play-off against Germany 3-1. In their Pool Matches they met the eventual winners, England and beaten finalists, The Netherlands. In all they won 3 of their 6 matches. The Women's team won their 5-6 play-off match against Switzerland and couldn't have done any better, winning all their seven matches. There were 27 teams in the Men's event and 18 in the Women's.

With these results the men retain their top 8 ranking and the women regain their top 8 ranking which they lost in the last competition when number one, Madeline Perry, was recovering from injury. All in all a satisfactory tournament with a few 'might have beens' thrown in!
