April 2024
April’s premiere billing is the highly-anticipated Cannon Kirk Gillen Markets Irish Squash Open 2024 which takes places from April 23rd-27th, with 5 Irish stars taking to the court for it. Elsewhere, we have more international action as our Men’s and Women’s teams compete in Div 1 & 3 of the ESF European Team Championships 2024, while our masters get their home international campaign underway.
March 2024
March’s highlight occurs right at the start of the month with this years Irish Masters Closed coming to town from the 1st-2nd March. Further afield, there is plenty of continental action taking place across the month.
February 2024
February is set to be a cracker with many high profile tournaments taking centre stage as we reach the climax of the season. With that, the Irish Senior Nationals are set to take the main spotlight when they take place across the 9th-11th in Fitzwilliam LTC.
January 2024
January’s premiere billing is the Leinster Senior Open which takes place on the 13th-14th Jan.
December 2023
December’s highlight is the 2023 WSF Men’s Team World Championship taking place in NZ from the 11th-18th Dec
November 2023
November’s highlight is the Irish Junior Open on the 17th to 19th Nov, while there is plenty of action across all provinces this month!
October 2023
October’s highlight is the Irish Masters open taking place from the 19th to 22nd Oct, but we have plenty of other competitions across the month! Check back here for weekly updates:
September 2023
We had competitions aplenty during September which saw some high-level squash and terrific battles nationally and internationally!
On the international stage, Mount Pleasant Squash Club represented Irish Squash in the European Club Championships in Germany where they performed valiantly! Moreover, Irish Squash were represented by several masters players (see here for details – Instagram post re European Masters 2023) in Hamburg for the European Individual Masters’ Championship 2023.
Domestically, the Kerry Senior Open, the Mount Pleasant Junior Mixed Open (see here for results GILLEN MARKETS Mount Pleasant JMO 2023 – SportyHQ), the Ulster Senior Closed 2023 and Connacht Junior Open 2023 (see here for results Connacht Junior Open 2023 – SportyHQ) all took place in September with some excellent squash on display across all four competitions!
